@lolo_wood_: Picture this: You go sit down for an hour of quiet and within 10 minutes, an internal checklist fires off and the mind race begins 🐎 in those 10 min, you’ve done due diligence to your to do list and the guilt settles in. You feel like resting is a violation of productivity, as if peace is something you have to earn rather than a space you own. I believe this is called “the anxious toil” waking up early, staying up late, and carrying the weight of the world because you’ve been sold the lie that everything will collapse if you stop managing every variable. As women we often aim to be like a “Proverbs 31 woman” To me, she is someone who operates as a high level sovereign manager of her domain, not like a servant wearing battle armor. She commands an estate, she has help, she delegates tasks, enforces order. She is not running around in panic or giving her family the crumbs of her energy - she is not UNDER control, she is IN control and that’s why “…she laughs without fear of the future.”  What do you struggle with more?
