There is a pantry staple cookbook here on TikTok and one of the recipes has homemade hamburger helper. It’s way better, and you can dry can it to have on hand

I always put bell peppers, onions and can or jar mushrooms in with the hamburger meat while I’m frying ( it gets the box taste out)

you'll need milk for sauce, I don't use as much milk as called fir. It takes sauce a bit to thicken.
