Apple officially claims the iPhone 18 Pro can reach up to 50% in approximately 15 minutes when starting with a drained battery and using a compatible 60W-capable USB-C adapter with Adjustable Voltage Supply. But charging doesn’t remain equally fast throughout the entire battery. The phone gradually reduces the charging rate as the battery fills, particularly as it approaches 80%, to control heat and protect long-term battery health. That makes this 20–81% result a useful real-world test rather than a perfect laboratory measurement. Charging time can still vary depending on the adapter, cable, temperature, phone usage and battery settings. Would this charging speed be enough for your daily routine?
