I’ve taken chemo (methotrexate) for almost a year. I’ve never had cancer. It’s a first line medication for many autoimmune diseases before you can move to biologic medications.

I went through 3 years of cancer with hubs and a grandmother with bone cancer. Doctors never deemed the chemo ineffective until 4 rounds of chemo was completed. I worked with 4 oncologist at one facility and several at a facility that has been number one or two facility 20 times in the last 36 years and has held number one during the time she was to have had cancer. All of them would not deem the treatment ineffective after 2 rounds. Yes, I get pissed when folks lie about cancer, it’s personal to me and thousands of others that have walked through that horrible path.

I have questioned her alleged mistake in care. When she says she was given so much sterile water she nearly died. Having worked in hospitals I find that so unlikely since sterile water is not kept anywhere near normal saline LR or any other solution we normally use. It’s kept in the pharmacy to be mixed.
