Theory ichigo shikai abilities allow him to shift between the effects his different races have on his body. His blade goes fully white when he needs horn of salvation indicating he’s using hollow powers but he also needed to gather/redirect attacks to get this form (like a quincy using the surrounding reshi to make weapons) which would make sense cuz his hollow powers are tied with his quincy powers. Meaning that ichigo’s bankai could at least four different forms
