My manager did this to me when I worked as a server. They would consistently schedule me to work when I was at my corporate job. I gave them my availability during my interview. They asked if I could leave early and I said no. When I gave them my 2 weeks notice, the manager looked at it, said “ok” and put it in the drawer. Apparently she didn’t tell anyone else because the next time the schedule came out I was scheduled the exact same shifts for the next two weeks. I called and told them I put in my 2 weeks notice 2 weeks prior and they said I had to work them or find someone to cover them. That it wasn’t “their responsibility” and I would be marked as a NCNS if I didn’t. I told them no and never showed up
