@ruxandramocean: Some things are not meant to be destroyed. They are meant to be sent back where they belong. Episode 3 of Magical Formulas in Romanian Witchcraft enters the world of the strigoi — the restless dead believed to cross the boundary between their world and ours. Here, the incantation becomes a command. You have no business in my house. You have no business in my life. Go back to your grave. The magic lies in restoring a boundary that should never have been crossed: the dead belong with the dead, and the living with the living. The spirit is reminded of its grave, its decaying body, and the world to which it belongs — while the home and the living are symbolically reclaimed. Not a request. An eviction notice from the Romanian witch. #RomanianWitch #witch #Strigoi #FolkMagic #witchcraft Sources: Gorovei, A. (1931). Descântecele românilor: Studiu de folklor. Imprimeria Națională.
