@thegreatschema1: This video was filmed with a mobile phone camera on Theophany, January 18, 2006, during the rite of the Blessing of the Waters, which is performed every year on this same day in the River Jordan, where our Lord Jesus Christ was baptized. After Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem blesses the waters, the River Jordan ceases to flow in its natural direction and begins to flow in the opposite direction. As soon as the crosses are lowered into the calm water after the prayer, the river begins to change its course within a few minutes. Through His many miracles, even today, the Lord shows us which faith is true, but he who has ears to hear, let him hear. May the Lord enlighten us all, for we have received the purest faith handed down from the Apostles. May the Lord grant us strength to bring as many people as possible to Orthodoxy through our own example, and to save our souls. #orthodox #orthodoxchurch #miracle #christianity #panagia
