@bee.khanyile: Have we, as a generation, slowly lost the spirit of Ubuntu? 🥺🇿🇦 We come from a culture that teaches us umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu — that we are people through other people. But somewhere along the way, we became so focused on titles, status, friendships, acquaintances, boundaries and “minding our own business” that I wonder if we’ve forgotten what community actually feels like. There was a time when you could knock on your neighbour’s door and ask for a spoon of sugar. You knew the people around you. You helped each other, checked on each other and shared what you had — not because you were expecting something in return, but because that’s what community meant. Now we can live next door to someone for years and never even know their name. Maybe Ubuntu isn’t dead… maybe we’ve just stopped practising it in the little, everyday ways that made it so beautiful. ❤️ What do you think — have we lost the spirit of Ubuntu, or has it simply changed? 👇🏾 #Ubuntu #UmuntuNgumuntuNgabantu #yap #Community #30daysofcontent

Ya we’re really losing the “it takes a village” part of society. Yonke into is now about “what am I getting out of this?” And in this case, or if you have this mentality, do they mean the other person should be the 1 olula isandla first, at all times? Yena nje they just take take take?? Hayi bandla
