these leaders of the industry right now are trying to ensure they remain on top via regulation. They are tired of scaling because it’s capital intensive and they are scared of the debt and are ready to start turning a profit but they can’t out of fear for their competitors continuing To scale while they take their foot of the gas and take over. They simply want to regulate themselves into a position where they can stray taking profit right now. The nature of the business is slightly different in certain ways so it’s easy to see this as a great solution. I think they are getting alot of pressure from their shareholders to start taking a profit and get a return and they realize for one they are further away from doing what they promised and second they need even more money. Do your research s d quit listening to the propaganda. We can’t just opt out of competition with China. We can’t cede the future economically to China and it absolutely will. We know from dealing with the Soviet Union that our adversaries, however different the nature of the competition it is with China, will still never stop in secret.
