Poor thing! It’s trying not to touch your hand with its tentacles because apparently you have sunscreen or something on you that it shouldn’t be touching and can be poisonous to the octopus. I understand people don’t know things like that so that’s not why I’m going to be a jerk about it! Just next time if you get this opportunity, don’t have sunscreen or anything on your hands. Make sure they are super clean and hold the animal in the saltwater. It’s safer for them and you can still enjoy your little playtime with the creatures.🥰
