The only thing i remember of this era was in 89-91 the viles in the playground being colorful and I’d collect them not knowing what they were …just in pre k and kindergarten attracted to all the beautiful colors….id put them in my pocket …one day i was proud and when we came back inside i slammed it on the table and my teacher saw it immediately and said to throw it away and wash my hands …didnt know the issue until years later when i saw the viles in movies …never saw them with anything in them until the movies …insane ..the playgrounds were FILLED …u could barely see the floor and we’d play all through it

I was 10 yrs old but remember this time like it was yesterday! The crack epidemic destroyed so many families back then! That 💩 was cheap too! $5-$10! Crazy times!
