I completely agree with you! I started trading forex during COVID and the forex gurus were normalizing those high amounts of money constantly. It's all I knew and it stuck with me and messed up my psychology. I still can't trade small accounts because of it 😅😭 I force trades and hold trades too long to make a certain amount of money. It was something that held me down so bad that I finally had to cater my trading around it. I now only trade $150k combines and fundeds and I'm thriving 😂 but anyone that just starts out I don't show them large sums of money because I don't want hurt their psychology early on.

Mice been pulling 1100 or so in 20 minutes or less the last few days. Just had a quick scalp and was like I guess I’ll settle for $300. Mins you it takes me a full day of work to make that for my day today job

before I blew my account I was making 400-550 a day and felt behind wanted minimum 1000 a day mind you I've been a stay at home mom for years if someone offered me 500 dollars for working 2 hours from home how was I not satisfied insane
