I’m a 40-year-old Ugandan woman who has lived, loved, lost, learned, and walked through many seasons of life. Seven years ago, I lost my twin sons in a drowning accident. Six years later, I began speaking openly about my grief, and I realised my story was helping people who were also hurting and trying to find their way. Through those conversations, many people told me I carry a lot of wisdom about life. I began to feel that perhaps my journey wasn’t only about surviving my pain, but also about using it to serve others. I’m currently on a pause because life happened, but deep down I keep coming back to the same calling: to become a speaker, motivator, and life coach, sharing lessons from my journey and helping others move from sorrow to strength. I may not know exactly how or when it will happen, but I believe one day this purpose will be fulfilled. 🙏🏽❤️

My ex said I lied because I changed my mind when I said I didn’t want to be with him forever after I found out he was messaging other woman, yelling at me, putting me down smashing things and drinking a bottle of vodka a night. I changed my mind, I don’t want that to be my life.

I was raised in a fundamentalist church, & 10 days before my arranged marriage at 18 years old, I left home and started a life. I didn't want to be married, I left and my entire family disowned me for it. choosing me was so lonely, but I am so proud of myself and the life I have built outside of their cage!
