@els.exploress: If you’re thinking of visiting one of the lakes, make sure it’s Lake Garda! Lake Como is beautiful, of course, but there is just something magical about Lake Garda. Reasons you should visit Lake Garda: 1. Fewer crowds! Lake Como is absolutely packed with people at all times of year and it can be overwhelming. 2. More places to visit! We stayed in Peschiera Del Garda which was basically a boat port so we were completely connected to all the towns around the lake! We stayed for four nights and visited Sirmione, Lazise, and Limone Sul Garda. 3. You can spend a lot more time exploring Lake Garda if you’re looking for more of a holiday rather than a quick site seeing break.
