A Gentleman’s Poetry :
I loved her flawed and imperfect. When knowing and learning to understand her past traumas and past toxic history in order to help her and put myself second. Thinking it was the right thing to do and would strengthen our bond. In building her up, two years weren’t spent on learning to love me but distancing in order to strictly work on herself to the very end. Then get hit with “I was with you because you were a good man, but I didn’t like you and struggled to kiss and be intimate” so left after finding the courage. 2 years plus and after being the best man I could be for her I’m left devastated and crushed with no way to put the pieces back together the same way.
