Just imagine an instant or sorcery with: storm, cascade, convoke, improvise, split second, flash, lifelink, wither, rebound, affinity for artifacts, affinity for creatures, casualty, overload, and flashback. That is something that is currently entirely achievable in MTG.

A favorite of mine is stratus dancer, when it’s turned face up it counters an instant or sorcery, but since mega morph is considered a “special action” like playing a land, it gets around split second
