@kiasmamuseum: Last chance to see Edith Karlson's exhibition at Kiasma! In her work March: Army a group of hybrid creatures travel across the room. The riders carry flimsy branches as weapons, and the beasts they ride appear to have been flayed or to have shed their skins. Karlson describes the work as a strange army. She says this artwork has been a way for her to deal with the feelings of disappointment and helplessness evoked in her by the current state of the world.
