thin oils thicken when they warm up. they don't cause any problems but do lubricate better when cold

with all respect and the admiration and gratitud Sir you deserve for your work. the answer is plain and simple , yes. i am not a mechanic , but i am a long distance driver , and yes , every step being done to the auto industry havw been done to destroy reliability. a 0 w 8 is scam. no one can bypass the laws of physics.not even the engineers at toyota.

it's water junk never ever is there a good idea to run thin oil 5w20 5w30 is right oil for most cars
