No matter how small, large, thin or thick your plant - Fiskars helps you make the cut. . Now, let’s talk a little more about cutting. The earlier you embrace the chop, the more success you’ll have with this hobby. . ✂️Propagation is the best & cheapest way to create a jungle - turn one plant into multiple like I did with my #monsteraadansonii in this video. It’s a quick way to create a lush multi-planted display for aesthetic reasons, or you can swap/sell some of your propagations to fund new plant purchases hehe! . ✂️Talking about aesthetics, life is too short to look at ugly leaves! Cut them off !! . ✂️Cutting off leaves can also be functional - sometimes leaves are so infested with pests, you are better off cutting them off instead of fighting a battle you will never win. My adaonsonii had a bunch of mealybugs I wasn’t able to get on top of, until I just cut them all off :P . ✂️We have to accept that we are dealing with limitations when growing indoors - like ceiling height! So eventually, your plant has to be cut! I call this process ‘chop & extend’ and I have done it over 5 times with my adansonii already! If it wasn’t for chop & extends, this pole would be over 5m tall, which is just not realistic indoors! . ✂️The best way to get on top of fungal issues, is to generously cut off the impacted part & let the plant reshoot .
