I will say that as someone who can access labs wholesale, it’s not reasonable to say don’t pay more than $150/carat. A lot of stones are $150-200 per carat direct to the jeweler. They’ve got to make $$$ on them. Not saying it’s standard, but more common than people believe. 😊

Love this take! Tired of people saying you shouldn’t pay more than $100/ct. Like yes wholesalers get them cheaper… that goes for majority of any product that anyone buys. We are paying for the convenience of not having to buy in bulk so there is an uplift as there is on literally everything people buy!

Such great content Chrissy! I agree Jesse does have the best pricing. I took my first purchase an 8.45 ct cushion to my jeweler and ended up spending wayyy more on the setting than the stone itself. Wishing I took it to Jesse had I found him sooner 😅🫶
