If they are at least 2 or so, tell them no more toys if you can’t stop throwing them, then start taking the toys away... If they are old enough to process consequences, this actually works. Of course give the toys back and say but next time no more toys. It takes a few times but it does become effective after a while. Do it calmly though like alright if you want toys to play with, then don’t throw them at people.

My grandson chucked a toy at me and learned what a rebound is really quick. It wasn't on purpose, the toy just bounced off me and hit him so fast neither of us really understood what happened for a few seconds. He also stopped throwing toys at people that day. hahahaha

My 2 yr old doesn’t throw his toys. Once he started I took it away for the day. When he’d throw I’d say “gone” and he wouldn’t get em back until tmrw. 2 1/2 and he’s stopped completely 😅
