It’s incredibly normal and common to “talk” to loved ones who have passed

If you never lost a child, do not speak on how one should feel because it is a battle EVERY F’ING DAY!!!!

I just feel like he said he tells them “help me” because he’s… sad. People blow everything out of proportion

Why is “help me” being spun into anything other than help me make it through this life without you?

My dad passed away almost 11 years ago of cancer and I still talk to him. Doesn’t seem weird to me.

My dad died 28 years ago and I still talk to him and ask him for help.

But also, help me…. Grieve. Help me… move forward…. There are plenty of positive, if you’re biased yeah you’re going to see help me as a negative take

What is gonna further pissed me off is that if people were normal this wouldn’t be a bad thing. Doesn’t everybody when they speak to their passed loved ones say they are doing it because they themselves are sad. They themselves need help getting through the day. Like WTF. It’s gonna be just as bonkers as people blaming him for going to Costa Rica. Like would you prefer that he be drunk and buying prostitutes and crashing his car. Like what what do you want?

I highly doubt that all the people saying "me me me" have ever lost or had to grieve someone before. it is very normal to still talk to your lost loved ones, and suffer with that loss long after.

I hate how people think they can dictate anyone’s grief and how it should be portrayed.

My son died when he was 5 years old. I don't talk to him but I think about him all the time. I don't judge how other parents grieve

The entire issue was he didn’t resonate with people. More screen time will only make that worse

People saying they still talk to their deceased parents and loved ones…it’s not the same thing. Those are people who helped you and made you feel safe in life. It’s natural to want that safety back and seek it out by talking to them. Talking to your deceased children isn’t weird either. HOWEVER, having someone ask what you say to your kids when you talk to them and your one answer being “Help me” (when you’re talking to an infant and two toddlers under 5) is very strange

My husband talks to his son who passed in 2018 all of the time. Until you've been there, you don't have any idea what it takes to get through Every. Single. Day. It doesn't matter how it's edited, the women that have decided he's guilty will tear him apart regardless.

Grieving we also don’t know his religious or spiritual beliefs. If he is Catholic talking to his dead children is normal.

Have people never lost someone so important to them?! People are acting like it’s weird to reach out to your passed love ones asking for help especially when things just feel insurmountable. I lost one of my best friends and when I’m struggling I talk to him and ask for help and wish he was still here to listen and give me advice.

I “talk” to gravestones of people I don’t even know when I’m passing by in a cemetary. I talk to my family members and friends who have passed even when I’m not at their graves, there’s nothing wrong with what he said 😭
