The point here is that rejecting a claim for lack of sufficient evidence does not mean you are asserting the inverse. This confusion arises because people think binary logic is epistemically rational but it isnt. Binary logic cannot account for uncertainty, and rationality is fundamentally about dealing with uncertainty

Bad way to theorise because that has a 50/50 chance of being true so you could somewhat believe it. It would be better to have them say they know the exact number of blades of grass on the planet. That would be closer to the reality of god.
