@ablack_fitness: Shit I would tell you about weight loss if you wasn't scared of hurting your feelings #fatlossover40 #weightlossforlife #fatlosstipsforwomenover30 #over30weightlosswomen #sustainbleweightloss
Ok but can I ask you about consuming exercise calories back? I eat at my deficit but often through walking and NEAT I have burned 1000 calories a day. So am I super under eating? Should I be eating some of these calories back?

How do you help support someone who is working on the mentality of being scared to overeat/take a break from calorie deficit/or even have a singular day where calorie intake is over normal? (Asking for myself tbh😭)

Is it normal to start having like really vivid dreams when you start to cut down on sugar and over processed food foods and eat healthier?

I’ve been in a deficit at 1750 for three months and losing about .75 lb a week (while strength training and doing high protein, I’m 5’11”). I did not do the work to find my maintenance before that (for diet breaks/figuring out maintenance later) so I’m curious about spending some weeks slowly reverse dieting to find that maintenance amount and then returning to a deficit once I get that data. Do you think that would be a good plan or should I stay the course in my current deficit and diet break to a random maintenance number for a week or two?

what would be a time frame before metabolic adaptation? I'm NOT implying that is an issue for me or anyone who follows you. just genuinely interested? months? because you're right, I see and hear this all the time. I'm going to send you a video if I can.

Can you speak to the different calorie calculators and what to trust? I’m taking the info from Canada Health and USDA, but I’ve gotten maintenance values anywhere from 1900-2600 cal/day. Low to moderate activity, 220 lb, currently comfortably eating 1800 cal/day as a deficit. Obviously, since this is comfortable, I’m good, but I’m either in a radical deficit or barely at all.

For 8 years I was very poor and eating around 3 or 4 meals a week max. My maintenance is genuinely around 1400 calories. Is that likely to be a situation to be metabolically adapted. I weighed around 100lbs (168lbs before that time). I happily am no longer in that sitch, but I also gained 70lbs from over eating high calories but low amounts. I have played around and its definitely 1400. Im trying to body recomp, ive lost 19lbs since may and gained muscle, sticking to 1200 calories which for me is sustainable, im not struggling, but I would really love to raise my metabolism. Should I stop and eat at maintenance?
