as an American who doesnt speak or read Japanese, how are Americans functioning in Japan? how do they generate income or communicate day to day? im sure alot of Japanese citizens speak English as well but of course there will be alot of situations where there will be a huge language barrier. I would love to live in Japan, but i feel like only Americans worh remote jobs can realistically make a life over there.

My boyfriend wants to be able to retire to Japan because it is so one place in the world. He's always wanted to visit. I told him, yes, we can go, but it's gonna be kind of a weird difficult. Situation, because it will be a summer home vacation home until you're old enough to leave. We just have to finish putting the funds aside and making sure that we have a budget in my, in an area that we are most actually certain we want. I wanted nonsense town. He wants to be able to see rice fields. He wants to be able to relax and do absolutely nothing. And I wanna be able to take a culture, study course and learn the language in the mathematicals and really learn about the history. So I would prefer to be more in town
