When Daenerys lost Missandei, she took that shit personally and basically wanted to set the whole world on fire. Jon lost his entire family, his friends, and almost everyone he loved, yet somehow still had the strength to grieve and let go. It’s literally Wanda losing Vision vs. Thor losing his family and Asgard. One turns grief into “fuck the world,” the other turns it into “I’ll carry this pain and keep going.” That’s why Jon feels like a leader, while Daenerys slowly became consumed by her pain.

What's fascinating about this series is that the last two seasons as a whole were terribly paced and examples of poor writing, but broken up like this, you do see signs of how it all actually works. If only it were laced properly and much less compressed. There are signs of greatness there.
