It's because we've strayed further from god and ourselves spiritually. Empathy is one of the biggest key components to human connection. Without belief, faith and empathy, it opens so many negative doors to cruelty towards one another.

We all could have been that kid when we were his age. We all did stupid 💩 back then because we all believed that we were invincible. At his age his judgement isn’t that of an adult. I served in the navy on an aircraft carrier. When we walked through the hatch to access the flight deck there was a sign that said “If you think that accidents only happen to the other guy remember this, to your shipmates you are the other guy.” A young life has been taken. No decent person is celebrating that. 😢

He’s been around long enough to see the other deaths happening, all the warnings, and I’m 90% positive his parents even told him about it and you can’t say he’s a kid a doesn’t watch the news because these deaths and warnings have been plastered on this app too. E-bike deaths and subway surfing deaths will continue to happen especially to people who believe it won’t happen to them
