Talk is cheap! Do something about it. Families caring for relatives having to sacrifice their own jobs and ending up unpaid. Or if they do receive the pittance from the government it’s then taken off their sick relatives benefit. Word salad doesn’t pay the bills. Just totally sick of our greedy government!!

I worked for the NHS for 28y loved every minute of it.and we all felt appreciated and supported and the wage was good.fast forward to me working in a care home(not anymore) wow what a difference.bad bad bad bad company bad management bad staffing and the pay wow.you work 12h for £12.90(carer) it’s shameful and disgusting 💕

The carers are amazing… It’s not the carers that are the problem it’s the overcharging underpaying management and private owners that are the problem they charge the vulnerable £28 an hour and the carers who are looking after them are are paid £13.51 how does that make sense? How is that fair? xxx

Pls Pls change the 799 which is council funded amount for a care home. There is hardly any care homes out there for that amount. Im broken trying to get my mum out of hospital to a dementia care home that is right for her. I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
