@brevardzoo: Bye, Bye Bowtie! 🐢🌊 This juvenile green sea turtle headed back to the ocean after a short stay at our East Coast Zoological Foundation's Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center. Bowtie arrived in mid-August after a fisherman had reported accidentally hooking the turtle at Jetty Pier Park in Port Canaveral. The turtle had two hooks stuck that our veterinary team was able to remove. Bowtie was in otherwise good health upon arrival, and they recovered quickly.
