Rolling all the windows down on the vehicle and keeping your hands on the steering wheel makes a huge difference. If it’s dark outside, also turn the dome light on so they can see in the vehicle as they walk up.Don’t be moving all around looking for your insurance, registration and drivers license. You can get all this once the police officer approaches your vehicle.

This is how is done . This is excellent training. You never challenge a police officers in the street, if you need to take them to court.

in the trucking space its basically the same. like you said manners matter. even if you are in the wrong being respectful and easy to work with, you might get some slack
