NYFW after parties have always been boring, it’s nothing new. The fashion crowd is notoriously vain—they are literally gathering to be seen in their outfit. They’re status oriented with something to prove; which at the EOD isn’t fun or connective—it’s literally hierarchical and shallow and is imo the spiritual antithesis of connection. Being a fun person is a mindset, you bring the party wherever you are. They don’t have the je ne sais quoi, pay posers no mind and dance your ass off there’s nothing to interact with.
