It is the utmost disrespect to use and showcase Kurdish clothing directly without even mentioning the name of Kurds or Kurdish traditional attire. This garment was worn in Kurdistan by both women and men from the 1940s onwards, crafted from animal hide. As we know, Kurdish traditional clothing entered the Guinness World Records this year. Is it acceptable for attire recognized worldwide to be used again in their designs without permission or attribution? Why should this be acceptable? This is not a showcase of Kurdish culture, as they haven't mentioned Kurds anywhere; rather, they brand it as their own and take pride in the design. In reality, this is cultural appropriation, which is not permitted in any country, and the most vital part of a country is its culture and traditions, which distinguish it from others.
