Feel like im beatin a dead horse here but i see so many comments questioning ‘How to get a wolf’, that it needs to be said again. First, these are wolf dogs. Second, im not being a jerk, I dont think im better or more capable than anyone to care for one. But i understand the commitment and I am all in. That being said, it requires A LOT more than than most people know to care for one. A decision like that should NOT be taken lightly. A lot of preparation goes into it before even considering if it is the right decision. You need to check state and county laws. Many dont allow this breed. At a minimum you need a 6 foot fence. You will likely need to add dig guards, perhaps lean ins, possibly hot wires. You should have enclosure built for when you must leave home. Not every animal requires, but every animal should have available. Those two things alone will cost you thousands of dollars. Then theres the time committment. Your animal will need alot of your time, affection, patience. If your lifestyle involves hanging out away from home often, not the right choice for you. Early. And plenty of socialization, exposure to everything to help desensitize animal of fear should be factored in. I dont go on vacations, never have since i have had mine. Because, unlike a dog, you cant just leave them in the care of anyone. Expensive diets, table perching, counter surfing and destructive behaior are all traits of this animal. Also, they generally do better if they have a larger canine friend of the opposite sex as a companion. They do better if not alone. This has to sound repetitive by now, but listen, im trying to be honest. If you dont understand the committment that goes into them, it will be disastrous to get one. Go visit a sanctuary, talk to other people who have them. Dont take it from me. Educate yourself. And dont ever think you want one because they would make good guard dogs because that couldnt be further from the truth. Also, much more difficult to potty train, and you may never be successful at that. An adult male may always mark his territory- in your home. They also have no problems eating your furniture and everything else. If you made it this far, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone♥️. ##foryoupage##fyp##keeperofthewolves##packpeculiar##wolf##wolves##mywolfpack##wolfdogsoftiktok##beautifulwolfdogs
