Pete Aguilar (D-CA) advised against "retreating and failing" in the AI industry, but supported innovation "while protecting jobs and utilizing AI safety." House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) added that the party's AI policy plan will focus on safeguarding "the safety, the health, [and] the well-being of the American people."
