Good on you for being willing to share this with the world. However, even though we are free to express our opinions in this world, some opinions should be examined carefully so that they do not create misunderstandings. Otherwise, they can easily lead to misunderstandings about culture and religion. We are free to have our own opinions, but we should also be responsible for the opinions we express.

women are not obligated to pray at the mosque. they get more rewards and good deeds for praying at home. that's why the women's section isn't as catering. it's mostly a form of mercy for women to have a section to pray.

Praying in the mosque is compulsory for men but optional for women, hence the difference in the size of the prayer areas.

It’s not because women are less important or less respected. In Islam, men and women have different spaces in the mosque to maintain privacy, modesty, and comfort during prayer. For women, praying at home is generally considered better than praying in the mosque, while for men, praying in the mosque is generally better than praying at home. However, women are still allowed to go to the mosque, and they have the same reward for their worship according to their sincerity and deeds. So the different sizes of the prayer areas are not a statement about who is more valuable. They are related to Islamic guidance, privacy, and the usual number of people attending. it's not a negative thing.

Kadınlar için bölümün küçük olmasının sebebi camiye normal ibadet için giden kadın sayısı az olduğu için günlük ibadet etmeye gelen kadın sayısı fazla olmuş olsaydı o bölümü de ona göre büyütürlerdi

U r absolutely correct about the woman section being bad. The woman section shouldn’t be segregated from the men’s section. It’s a new tradition and as Muslim women we keep fighting about this issue. We don’t mind the segregation, it’s more comfy for us, but don’t give us a small bad, tiny section of the mosque.

Do you know why men and women have separate areas in the mosque and not big as men? It is because men are required to pray at the mosque, whereas women are not; for women, it is better to pray at home. and At Jumah pray only men prayer at the mosque.

Why does the woman’s section is a bit smaller than the man section so in Islam women are not required to pray in mosqu but man are required to pray every five prayers in the mosque so there’s nothing different about the place or anything. It’s just like women don’t go to pray in there that often just pray in the their home more that hope that helped 🩷

The women's area is smaller because women are advised to pray at home, while men are required to pray and fill the mosque but women can also pray at the mosque if they are traveling or not at home

Thank you for sharing your experience and for appreciating the mosque’s hospitality ❤️Just a small clarification about Islam women are not required to attend the mosque for the five daily prayers. They can pray at home, and they are also welcome to go to the mosque if they wish, for prayer, Qur’an, learning, or other purposes. Men, on the other hand, are encouraged/required according to Islamic teachings to attend the mosque for the congregational prayers, especially the five daily prayers. Friday prayer is also a special obligation for men, while women are not required to attend it. Women may of course attend the mosque, and during occasions such as Eid many women go to the mosque as well. So the difference in the prayer spaces is not necessarily about giving women less importance; it is connected to the different religious obligations and practices for men and women.
