No. China is not ditching the dollar. It is actively reducing some exposures, promoting the yuan in its own trade and with select partners, buying gold, and building alternative payment infrastructure—but the dollar remains dominant in China’s overall foreign assets, global payments, reserves, and trade finance. Full replacement faces structural barriers that have limited progress.

We're modern day Rome. When they crashed their currency ended up changing. Rome was a republic, and was an example of a republic not being overly long lasting. We are also a republic, just a rough copy of what Rome did and was. While they're trying to buy off our own debt with another credit card, and we're expected to have good credit just to rent.... what is this reality anymore.

Out of our $40T national debt, roughly $10T to $14T comes directly from the Bush and Trump tax cuts plus the compounded interest on that borrowing. Basic economics says when the economy is booming, you keep tax revenue strong to build up reserves and pay down obligations. Slashing revenues during economic expansions violated standard countercyclical policy, turning an economic peak into a permanent structural deficit.

Only realistic option isvto default on all those Bond/loans. This would cause D,F credit rating, which would neuter politicians from wasting our kids money on BS pork projects.

This is where China grossly underestimated the strength of the USD. the USD is omnipresent. it is the definition of money and everyone needs it. ever heard the milkshake dollar theory? the dollar doesn't need oil, debt or anything to latch on to be valuable. it's the definition of money itself.
