My husband said once “if you only have $10-it doesn’t matter if the diapers cost $20 or $200-you still can’t get them” and it’s really stuck with me. For people saying “it’s just a $1” yes. It is just a $1. But if all he has is 75 cents-it doesn’t matter if it’s $1 or $100-he doesn’t have it.

The employees weren’t even rude! The comments are so out of touch. If 50 people all expect to be spotted a dollar, that $50 at the end of the day. If they spotted money to someone but not another person they’d be screaming about that too

I used to work at a movie theater and we had to count cups and bags and candy after, and if it didn’t match the till you got in trouble. Happen enough times and you’re fired.

I used to work at the Renaissance fair and we worked on an inventory counting system and I couldn’t even give away an extra cup! Or if someone had their own mug, I had to throw away a cup to make it match. They were STRICT! It was not worth my job.
