Cleaner here, for glass I use 99% alcohol & water mix with a drop of dawn dish soap. Flawless glass everytime.

viakal is ok if you're careful with it, not it can damage stuff easily. White vinegar is good alternative, or always dry down glass and taps in hard water areas so it doesn't sit

There are plenty of products that are cruelty free and work just as well. Also Nancy Birthwistle gives ideas for homemade products that are environmentally friendly and work. Mostly bicarb of soda, vinegar etc
