@visualadvocate: #ValuAble tip for brand builders: before thinking outside the box, look closely at what’s already inside it. Rather than introducing a new visual language to dyson, what if the brandmark came directly from what is already there? By repeating the ’d’ radially, I found a mark that feels more native to dyson; simple, memorable, functional, and expressive in both positive and negative space. A little Sokoto in your sokoto thinking😁😁 Tag: @dyson @allanpeters #WhatYouThink? #creativedirectorofthemasses #thevisualadvocate Cc: @marcello_serpa 🎵: ADML by @greatmantakit
Beyond the final result, this is a logo design masterclass, thank you 🤗

I think what you have developed would work better as a brand pattern than as a brand mark/primary logo. 🤔🤔🤔
It's beautiful, and genius, but it's application, plus where and how it fits, is better suited for a brand pattern because you have to make it subtle for it to work well. I've seen you reduce its opacity on mockups for it to look good.
But the brand mark is the primary thing, can be reduced to a favicon or simplest sizes and would still be recognized. Your version, respectfully, would struggle to be seen on a browser tab, is too busy and hard on the eyes as a social media profile and in other digital spaces, and probably only works well with physical products from Dyson. Even your mockups only focus on physical products, because that's where it fits well.
I may be wrong though.

This is why I will always maintain that creativity is exclusively subjective and personal. No design in this world will ever ever ever have a unanimous acceptance by the audience. I tell my folks the best work of design is the one that the client accepts and pay for. 😊

Sorry guys. The wordmark was perfectly fine before either edit. It got busier and less elegant.

There are many Allan Peters logo designs that are goood, but not all, it's not always a win.
