@tayminchew: I’ve struggled with social anxiety for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been the shy girl. 🤍 Social events have always been hard for me, and even simply talking to people is something I’ve had to work extra hard at. So when God placed a praise and worship event on my heart, I honestly thought He was crazy for choosing ME!! I questioned it so many times. I thought, “God, are You sure? Me? There are so many other people who could do this.” “I can’t do this.” “I’m not worthy.” But standing in front of all these women at our very first 619 Sculpt Society worship event, I realized God wasn’t asking me to be fearless. He was asking me to trust Him. The girl who used to be too shy to walk into a room and talk to people was now standing in front of 70 women, leading them through Pilates, worship, and prayer. And I know without a doubt… this wasn’t me. This was God. Sometimes the calling will scare you because it’s bigger than what you think you’re capable of. But God doesn’t need you to feel ready. He just needs your YES. Even when you’re doubtful, even when it’s scary. He’s shows up!
