These are the very people (farmers) who are suffering the most, yet look at what they are doing. 🤦🏾♂️😂 In 2024, a bag of maize was selling for GH₵1,000+, but now that same bag is selling for around GH₵300 yet they have to run after buyers while 2024 buyer were begging, while the cost of farm inputs has even increased compared to 2024. Yet look at what they are doing! They have brought them a box of weedicide and each will get 1litter and they are hailing the NDC as if everything is fine. 😂 Meanwhile, non of them there can barely afford university for the children now. In 2024, four bags of maize could fetch over GH₵4,000, which could pay the hostel fees and academic fees of their children. Now, to make that same GH₵4,000, a farmer may have to sell about 13 bags of maize. 😩 And you expect me not to ask questions? I’m not the only one suffering. These farmers are suffering too, yet look at how they are hailing the NDC. 😂😂 and the banner tell where they are from so no wonder 🚶🏻♂️Sometimes, I honestly wonder whether people are looking at the situation around them or they are just responding to political party colours. Because if you are a farmer and you are selling your maize at such a low price while your input costs are rising, surely you should be asking questions too. 🤦🏾♂️
