I had HG also. I have thyroid issues so just I thought my thyroid was overactive again. I lost 100lb in like 4 months and was pregnant the whole time but didn’t find out I was pregnant until I was like 19 weeks. It was SCARY!!! To be fair I was 275 lbs before pregnancy lol but losing any weight during pregnancy is so scary. I had an IV at home with almost constant zofran. It was tough. I’m so sorry u went though it also! It’s so tough and scary! 🥺🥺

I had HG also with my son. I would say I had it mild compared to a lot of other moms who had it but it was one the worse thing that I ever experienced..I couldn’t eat anything until 30 weeks. Zofran and promethazine allowed me to eat a little.

I got treated like I was a horrible mother because I lost weight due to my morning sickness and lost weight, which made them think my baby was "severely underweight", even though I legit complained about not being able to keep much down the entire pregnancy. He wasn't underweight, though. He was just laying inside the womb funny and only looked like he was tiny. He had just dropped when they started accusing me of him being too small. He came out almost 7 pounds. 😐

Mind you it’s also extremely common for men to cheat the whole time a woman is pregnant too. It’s the PERFECT copout excuse for them! “You were never in the mood/I felt too weird to do anything bc the baby/it’s harder to get into certain positions” So you get to go through all the physical stuff that comes with pregnancy AND simultaneously the WORST mental state of your LIFE up to that point!! Woohoo!!!

I too was sick my entire pregnancy. You can’t work you can’t clean you can’t take care of yourself. It’s basically hell, but you’re still alive, producing a human.
