Tale as old as time, which is why ideologies like this will inevitably fail. The recurring theme is (justifiably) disgruntled people taking the easy way out, allowing themselves to be propagandized into unironically believing that "all of our problems are conveniently because of [boogey man/ scapegoat], so if we just deal with THAT/THEM allllllllll our problems will go away". Then they win, then when the problems don't go away and sometimes even get worse, they double down and cope even by finding a new scapegoat/Boogeyman, as we see her "UHHH WELL NO ITS JUST CUZ THE GUYS WE TRUSTED WERE STUPID, IF WE JUST GET DIFFERENT GUYS IN THEN ITLL WORK YOULL SEE" 😴😴😴 gimme a fuckin break .A rule of thumb is that if your ideology is telling you that our problems are all caused by a single group (or even small groupings) of people, classes of people etc., then it's probably a bullshit cope ideology. It appeals to the lowest of the low, those who choose the simplicity of easily identifiable hatred rather than the discomfort of complications. Fascism, communism, authoritarianism and populism appeal to the mentally weak who cannot handle uncertainty and complexity.
