After 30 minutes in the SPECS wearable computer at the Beverly Wilshire media preview, my honest answer: weight wasn't the issue. Fit was. There's a meaningful difference between those two things. Weight fatigue — the headache-inducing pressure people associate with extended headset use — wasn't something I was distracted by. What I noticed more was how the glasses sat on my face. Tight, but not immediately uncomfortable. Whether that becomes an issue over hours rather than 30 minutes is a question I can't answer yet. But the weight concern that tends to be the first objection to AR glasses for heads-up work applications?
