My gf reposted this, I feel so incredibly disappointed in my self bc Ik as a parent mee im supposed to be their safe space and where they feel most comfortable and happy. And for me, she understands me in ways no one ever has. She is so incredibly patient, kind, sweet, caring, and most of all accepting to me. She is the person and most important person in my life and she had changed my life completely for the better. So it just hurts me that I don’t do that same for her. I feel like I’m not enough of im doing enough for her. I want to be able to understand her and for her to feel safe and want to talk to me first thing when something happens like I do with her, I want her to miss me everytime someone doesnt understand what she’s trying to say like I do with her. I just want her to feel the way she makes me feel. And it hurts me that it feels like she doesn’t. I don’t even know if I’m even allowed to be hurt by this. I feel guilty for being hurt by it but idk. Please if anyones see this, give me some advice or comments on how I could feel or how she most likely feels, anything helps please this has been an on going problem for me and I don’t ever want her to know or have to talk abt it with her and make her feel gulity or at fault. I love my sweet girl with everything in me and I just want to be there for her. Please if u see this don’t ignore it please anything helps.
