im agreeing with a Comment Saying "its not always a pitbull" my Brother had A Male Begium Malnois We had him for like 5 Years One Night i woked up around 1 or 2 AM to Get a Glass of Water and i didnt think to turn on any lights so the malnois followed me to the kitchen and started growling. i called out his name asking whats wrong next moment i knew he grabbed my arm and started tugging me i started screaming and we had a Female pitbull and she basicly pulled the malnois off of me and she basicly stood in front of me protecting me

So sorry that happened to you. 💜But im reading the comments. Do people think Pitbulls are the only breed that bites. I know of Belgian malinoise that ate my neighbors lady legs that worked for him. I don't ever see stories about any other breed attacks. And people that don't know. You never walk to a pitbull or any other dog breed that has working gene and just reach out to pet them. These dogs are pack dogs. She was there before but it does not make her part of the pack. And thd owners fault to let her reach out and pet the dog. These dogs are mostly working/family or just working dogs. And does not belong in people hands who does not know how to handle a fiull working breed. Don't blame the dog. Blame people who owns thrm but knows nothing about them. They are loyal to their pack members and even there are rules that need to be followed. And then you get the people who think they own a pitbull. If it's not a pue line and have different DNA in it like boerboel or any other DNA. most people don't realize. That DNA problem is also a problem. Because Sometimes that DNA ard thd dominant dna. Not the pitbull DNA. Again sorry for what happened. But if someone owns a Big breed doesn't matter what breed. Especially a working breed you never reach out just to touch.

My french bulldog did something similar. Thank God the bite was not as bad. But I would never have thought a frenchie was capable of it

I hate that pitbulls/ bully breeds get such a bad rap, there is no research showing that they are more prone to aggression just bc what breed they are. The only reason you see it more often is bc that the only breeds people post about when it comes to attacks. But another reason could be poor breeding I had a pit that did get aggressive towards the end of her life (she was 13) we had an autopsy done bc I felt there was something more wrong than old age.turns out she had a tumor growing in her brain that explained the aggression she was in pain and it was messing with her brain. It killed me to put her to sleep I had her since she was 10 weeks old she was the sweetest dog I had ever owned.
