@landofthelonesome: This old stone church is in a now ghost town in a very remote part of New Mexico. The town was established in the 1870s and at its height had a population over 400 people. The town was abandoned in the 1920s and for the last 100 years it has sat quietly in the New Mexico countryside. Folks still run large scale ranching operations in this area but you can stand here and not see any modern buildings and for a moment imagine what it was like when folks still lived here. Hope yall are enjoying these videos! It’s been fun to show another side of the places I photograph. . . . . . . #newmexico #newmexicotrue #abandoned #abandonedhouse #photography Albuquerque Santa Fe Great Plains high plains American west rural America abandoned bando New Mexico
