Mormon priesthood restoration is total nonsense. Firstly, the Aaronic priesthood didn’t need to be restored at all as all the duties thereof were made null and void with the atonement of Christ. (D&C 13 May 1829) Secondly, there is no record in D&C that reports the Melchezdic priesthood account. According to D&C 27 August 1830 it mysteriously took place sometime between the two dates. Considering the importance and significance of this supposed event Joe didn’t bother to include the account in D&C? However lots of trivial events are recorded in detail as God has taken to micromanagement while getting lazy about temple building details unlike previous details given in Exodus 26. Thirdly, Heb 7 is about Christ, NOT a Priesthood acquired from the vending machine of Mormonism. Heb 7:28 sums that up nicely, “The Law (Mosiac) appointed men as priests who themselves were weak. But the word of God’s oath, which replaces the Law, appoints the Son who is consecrated for ever”. Or Heb 7:26, “We have need of such a High Priest: holy, free from evil, unblemished, separated from all sinfulness, exalted above all the heavens”. NOT a bunch of spiritually inept guys claiming a high priesthood equal to Christ. Blatant sacrilege. The reference to Christ and Melchizedek is because both were Kings and High Priests. Mormon men are neither.

I have had a “broken mind” for 24 years, and I 100% believe that my mind can be healed. I know what he is saying is true, and the Lord has always spoken to me and encouraged me to hang in there. My day of deliverance will come, by the hand of God.
