Because we aren’t you can understand that you have roots leading back to Africa yes, but if my parents, grandparents, great grandparents were all born in America than that just means I’m American bro. I’ve never been to Africa , The individual cultures are significantly different from mines and I don’t have any family over there etc. Just because you are African doesn’t mean you are automatically black either. Haitians, Jamaican’s understand they have African roots too but you don’t go around calling them African hatians or African Jamaicans right? No you don’t

How are you going to tell people that need a visa to go to Africa, that they're African?
